Round-the-Clock is described by its designer, Ben Kőrös, as a superior bracelet wristwatch concept that is elegant but at the same time communicates that the wearer likes things just a little bit different – thus adding that personal touch to a black-tie milieu. Both a piece of jewellery and a useful wristwatch, Round-the-Clock tells the time via subtle rotating bands. The concept is more or less similar with Ring Clock: Time-telling Jewelry Concept by Szikszai Gusztav.
The three 'clock-faces' are, in fact, bands on which the digits are printed. They rotate around the wearer's wrist. The actual time can be read off the top, between the ends of the black mark. The materials used make the product were selected for elegance and neutrality, combining the concepts of a simple jewel and a useful watch. The surface is made of brushed stainless steel, the black mark is anodized aluminium, and there is an inner rubber ring for wearing comfort. The watch has no buttons; it synchronizes from external time sources, such as atomic clocks and GPS satellite signals. [via]
