Traditional washer occupies a large amount of space in common homes. When they are not used, they cause a major waste of space. In other hand, the washers present in public places (ex.: school, residence) are shared with a lot of people which is potentially causing serious health issues. It is interesting to point out that some people would not prefer mixing their clothes with others' nor using a public washer. As a solution to such problems, Lichen Guo proposed the Dismount Washer.
Unlike traditional washer, Dismount Washer separates washing space and electronic parts. So, when people would want to wash their clothes, the only need to bring their own washing box filled with their own clothes and they can plug it in any energy stick. The steam will be generate in the container of the power stick, then it will be delivered into washing box through “the vane” and at the same time the motor in power stick will rotate the vane. The clothes will be cleaned automatically under high steam pressure and a screen would show the washing progress. [via]
