Add Up by Fan Cheng Kuei, Deng Pei Chih, and Hsieh Tsai Ni is a cash conversion system for travellers that puts small change to good use. It is based on the idea of making full use of the foreign small change. Add Up provides a way to exchange the foreign currency into one’s domestic currency and put it to good use. It can be donated to a local charity, added to one’s phone account as credit, or converted into Skype points.
After the currency is exchanged, there are often a few digits after the decimal point. The system will automatically round down the number and donate the small remainder as a micro-donation.
